The replay value of Pajama Sam 3 is excellent, as there is some randomness to every new game. This randomness will keep a child busy for hours, as each time they play, the game is a little different. Because the games are slightly changed when restarted, you should save them along the way so that you can resume exactly where you left off.

Pajama Sam: Life Is Rough When You Lose Your Stuff! (also known as: Pajama Sam 4) is a computer game for children.[3][4]
Sam's Pajama Man comic book is lost in a strange world, where he meets a dirty sock who needs to get to his other sock, who is clean. He goes on a journey to find a way to clean the dirty sock and to find clothes (a shirt, shoes, and the socks) to get to Grubby Corners Mall, where his comic has found its way to. In this game, Pajama Sam's voice is provided by Elisha Ferguson rather than Pamela Adlon. This is the only Pajama Sam game without a demo, possibly because the game was only released after Atari's takeover along with Putt-Putt: Pep's Birthday Surprise.
Plot[edit]
Sam watches Pajama Man on TV. Suddenly he sees a breaking news story that Pajama Man is coming live, in person, at the mall for autographs. Excited, Sam asks his mom if he can go. After she agrees, Sam goes to get his first edition Pajama Man comic book for the autograph. The comic book is suddenly pulled into the big pile of junk and Sam must get it back. As 'Pajama Sam,' he's ready to retrieve his comic book, and enters into the land of junk.
Sam sets off on a series of adventures, in search of his lost comic book — looking for lost socks in Agitator Lake, rounding up dust bunnies at the Dust Bunny Corral, exploring the Spilled Soda Swamp, until he finally enters the Grubby Corners Mall where Dr. Grime is keeping Sam's comic book.
Development[edit]
Soundtrack[edit]
Pajama Sam Thunder And Lightning
The score was composed and produced by Nathan Rosenberg (The Doghouse NYC Studios). Much time and funds were invested in the music composition to accompany the gameplay. Latin was the desired genre for the game with over 45 minutes of soundtrack and optimum quality using real instruments. The solution to retain quality, time and budget was hiring drummer John Bollinger who used a number of syncing techniques to get the music just right. After two days of composing several soundtracks, saxophonist Tom Glusac was hired to add finishing touches to the soundtrack. Thus all the audio for the game was delivered just in time and under the budget.[1]

Pajama Sam 3: You Are What You Eat From Your Head To Your Feet is an enjoyable game that might be too difficult for those in the lower range of the recommended age group of children ages 3 to 8. Humongous Entertainment has a tremendous lineup of characters for children's interactive games, and Pajama Sam, complete with pajamas and a red towel for a cape, is definitely one of them. Not only is he visually appealing as a cute character, he is also very polite in the actual gameplay, making him an ideal role model for children playing the game.
Installation is a breeze. Instead of a long, drawn out process with a myriad of questions, this is an autorun CDs that you simply place in the computer, and it takes care of the rest. It is a hybrid game, meaning that it can run on either Windows or Macintosh systems. Regardless of your platform, the pop-it-in-and-play process works well.
The game begins with fats and sweets attempting to take over the island of Mop Top. An Emergency Peace Conference has been called for all of the major food groups, and with four of the delegates missing, it's up to you and Pajama Sam to find them and get them to the Conference all before dinner.
The gameplay itself is very simple, with a drag and drop user interface. There isn't a printed user manual, so the easy to use interface is a must. If you don't mind looking for it on the CD-ROM, there is a manual in Adobe Acrobat (PDF) format that you can view or print, although it's probably unnecessary.
Similar to other programs in the Humongous lineup, Pajama Sam 3 offers tremendous cartoon-style graphics and animation. In fact, they are done so well that you feel as if you are simply watching a cartoon on television. The sounds and music are adequate and offer enough randomness to keep them interesting. Again, they are very cartoonish in nature, which allows them to fit in nicely with the graphics and animation content.

The replay value of Pajama Sam 3 is excellent, as there is some randomness to every new game. This randomness will keep a child busy for hours, as each time they play, the game is a little different. Because the games are slightly changed when restarted, you should save them along the way so that you can resume exactly where you left off.
This is another excellent addition to the constantly growing lineup available from Humongous Entertainment. The only potential problem is the difficulty of some of the puzzles. While younger children probably will not play alone for too long, older children should enjoy the more difficult challenges. If you have children 5 or under, they will probably find the problem solving too challenging and will ultimately become extremely frustrated or simply give up. It's important to keep this in mind, and perhaps an adult playing the game with them may ease their tension.
Pajama Sam 1 Game
Graphics: This game has the look of a good cartoon and will be appealing to kids of all ages. Adults may find the graphics repetitive.
Sound: The music and sound effects are very cartoonish and work well with the graphics content. They tend to become rather boring after playing the game for awhile.
Enjoyment: This is one of those games where the sum is greater than the individual parts. That is, although none of individual categories are extremely good, it's a very enjoyably game.
Replay Value: Replay value is the strongest point of this game. Becuase the games are a little different every time, children won't mind playing this game over and over.
